The Trane XL16i outdoor Air Conditioning Condenser and Heat Pump are Ultra Efficient since they use the Trane Climatuff 2 Stage Compressor.  In milder temperatures under 85 degrees, the compressor operates at a lower stage which saves you money on your energy bill.  This lower stage also helps decrease humidity in the home.  If you have a Heat Pump then you will also benefit from having 2 stage heating during the winter.

The XL16i uses Trane’s exclusive all-aluminum Spine Fin coil, which is the most efficient in the industry and resists corrosion.  The WeatherGuard II top protects the interior from debris and also reduces noise.  The Duratuff base pan will not corrode, crack or rust.  All exterior metal is galvanized steel with a powder coat finish that resists rust and maintains its glossy appearance for years.

The Trane XL16i is ENERGY STAR qualified, with SEER ratings of up to 18.5 depending on the size.
